Hi, I'm MaKayla.
Get your kids' passports done in one appointment
Passport appointments with kids trip up a lot of families, me included. I made this checklist so you don't make the same mistakes I did!
Every step is in order and written in plain language, the way I'd explain it to a friend. It's free, and it's yours as soon as you tell me where to send it.
Send me the checklistKids' passports come with their own rules
Children under 16 have to apply in person, and both parents usually need to be there too. That one catches a lot of families off guard.
Rounding everyone up for a second appointment is nobody's idea of a fun afternoon. The checklist walks you through it, so you show up with the right papers the first time and get back to planning the trip itself.
What's inside
- Every document to bring, plus the copies to make at home, since not every facility will copy your ID for you
- When to sign the form (wait until you're in front of the agent)
- How to find a facility and book your appointment
- How the fees get paid, and why you may need two separate payments
- How long processing takes
- A final checklist to run through the night before
Where should I send it?
Your checklist opens on the next page. You'll also get my weekly newsletter by email, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
